One of the loudest buzzing apps of late is Joost, a TV-over-the-internet program (Windows and Mac) promising to bring a full-fledged, high quality television experience to your computer without the need for a capture card or any other hardware. All you need is an internet connection and a copy of Joost.

Lifehacker shows a wonderful way to embed an image to your site/blog without actually hotlinking. Web site ImgRed (Image Redirection) lets you quickly embed an image from another web site and embed it elsewhere without leeching bandwidth from the source. Just grab the URL of the image and append it to http://imgred.com/
(e.g., http://imgred.com/http://example.com/pic.jpg). The site copies the image to their server the first time it's requested, then serves it up permanently.
Its a pain to save the image from a site locally, upload somewhere and then use that image. This alternative not only very smart but extremely time-saving. As we all know that its not a good idea to hotlink an image from someone's site and steal their bandwidth.
Yahoo!7 is about to release version 1.0 of Yahoo! Alpha beta - a new service that allows users to create personalized search engine homepage using an intuitive drag-n-drop interface. 
The thing I liked about this is a very clean interface and plenty of options to create customized search engine. This is still a beta and needs some refinements like RSS search feeds, etc. but seems quite promising.

The page is not found due to : some random fluctuation in the space-time continuum might have produced a shatteringly brief but nonetheless real electromagnetic discombobulation which caused this error page to appear...and some cool pranks from Google : Google Romance (BETA), Google Gulp(BETA), Google Lunar Job, Google Pigeon Rank , and finally my personal favorite Google Mental Plex.
